We Made It Home

We made it home safe and sound. Busses were unloaded and gone from SHS parking lot by 10 pm. Just in time to get to bed before the Easter Bunny hops into town.

Where is the Beach?

Our last stop on our Florida trip was at a wayside rest in Sparta, WI. The boys think they are still in Florida!

Almost Home!

We have made a couple of stops since Louisville. We are about 3 1/2 hours from home. Just got done watching "Remember The Titans"... Now we are watching "Castaway"... The plane hasn't crashed yet.... Wilson has not made his appearance:-)

Louisville Bat Factory

We made it to Louisville Bat Factory at about 9:30 AM. We took a tour of the bat factory. It was very neat to see how the bats are made Many people ordered personalized bats to take back home with them. We left the museum at approximately 11:00 am.

We Made It To Louisville!

We made 3 stops between Cocoa Beach and Louisville. We stopped to eat breakfast at a Cracker Barrel just 10 minutes from our next stop: Louisville Bat Factory.

Grill Out and We Are On Our Way Back Home Home

Last night we had a very nice picnic next to the pool...we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. The food was delicious! Thanks to Mark Herman, Trish Uptagrafft, Nate Dodd and John Hickman for coordinating the grill out.

We left for the beach a little after 11 this morning. We had an afternoon on the beach and shopping. Then it was time to head back to Minnesota. At about 4:15 pm we left Cocoa Beach. It's partly cloudy and 84 degrees. Good bye Florida.

The Last Day In Florida

The boys headed to the batting cages at 7:45 this morning for their last practice before we head home.  We are heading to the beach for one last time and then heading north late in the afternoon.  Stopping in Louisville tomorrow morning at the Louisville Bat Factory.

JV Won Their Last Scrimmage in Florida

The JV team ended their last scrimmage in Florida just like they started....WINNING. The boys defeated Fairview, KY 10-7. Tyler Hickman, Shane Uptagrafft and Matt Aldrich shared pitching duties. We are off to grab a bite to eat then we are off to a minor league baseball game.
